Further information about our timing bars and flanged pulleys:

Timing bars are used to produce your own timing belt pulleys. The performance of a timing belt drive is strongly influenced by the quality of the associated timing belt pulley. This must be a precision component. The teeth in our timing bars are manufactured pitch perfect using milling tools. This results in accurate tooth engagement and the pitch of belts and manufactured pulleys will later match exactly when the correct belt is used. At least one drive pulley with two flanged pulleys (also known as flanged washers) must be supplied in a timing belt drive. They prevent the timing belt from slipping off. To reduce costs, we recommend installing the flanged pulleys with the smaller timing belt pulley. We supply them for all timing bars.
